As there were six of my friends coming home with me, Greg drove to Brisbane this morning so we had two vehicles to transport everyone. He was supposed to arrive just before 10am, however, he arrived about 9am; he was awake early hence, so left early, hence there was very little traffic on the road. We swapped vehicles and Greg drove Ulf, Jane and Ann in the CX8 and I drove Sylvain, Arne and Silke in the Cruiser. We stopped for coffee and cake at the Ginger Factory at Yandina, and had a little wander around the gardens afterwards.
Back on the road, we didn't stop again until we reached Hippo Farm. After unpacking and getting everyone settled into their accommodation (incl Sylvain in the van), we had a simple lunch of ham and salami salad rolls then a little rest.
In the afternoon, Greg took the guests for a wander around the property. We had a late'ish dinner with a few drinks, then it was off to bed for an early start in the morning.
